Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has appointed heads of new emirates with same first class status as Emir Muhammad Sanusi II. The development was announced on radio stations, Friday night. They include Aminu Ado Bayero, son of late emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, who is the pioneer … emir of the newly established Bichi Emirate . Bayero is currently the Wamban Kano, a senior member at the Kano Emirate Council presided over by Emir Sanusi. Ganduje also appointed three other emirs for Gaya, Rano and Karaye emirates. The emir of Gaya is Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya; the emir of Rano is Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila, while the Emir of Karaye is Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Abukakar ll.
