ASUS officially launched ZenFone 6 globally. The Taiwanese brand left out a notch (bangs) for a larger screen display and presents a flip-up camera.

The ZenFone 6 is the predecessor of 2018’s ZenFone 5 and comes with features that appeal to the high-end smartphones users. The device comes with a full-screen no-notch display with a screen-to-body ratio of 83.8 percent, Snapdragon 855 chipset and a huge battery.

ASUS uses an IPS LCD screen of 6.4 inches in this ZenFone 6 and is protected by the latest and rugged Gorilla Glass 6. The body is made of aluminium frame coated with glass material which is also protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass.

ASUS ZenFone 6 features a rotating camera feature, which they call flip-up. The dual camera on the ZenFone 6 offers 48MP resolution in the main lens and 13MP secondary wide-angle lens.

The dual flip-up camera ZenFone 6 has a motor so it can rotate 180 degrees and function as a rear camera and selfie camera as needed.

A wide-angle lens will function as a camera for a shared selfie (group selfie) and for shooting widely if used as a rear camera.

Thanks to this rotating camera model, users can take panoramic photos just by holding the smartphone, the camera will rotate to take pictures. The camera body is made of metal material to support durability. The system automatically made by ASUS will flip-down the camera if falling is detected for the smartphone.

Under the hood, ZenFone 6 uses the most advanced chipsets from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 855, which are balanced with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal memory. This smartphone will also be available in 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM, but there is still no known selling price of the variant.

In addition to the large display and processing power, ASUS also provides ZenFone 6 battery that is not less big, viz 5000mAh to power it up.
